Sean Michael Hess, 36, of Milton, WI, passed away on November 14, 2011. Sean’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Sean was born on August 29th, 1975, the son of Janet L. (Lindh) Peters and Eric N. Hess in Janesville, WI. He attended Milton High School, class of 1993. Sean worked 12 years with Wisconsin & Southern Railroad as Lead Carman. Sean married Laura K. (Tinkler) Hess on July 1st, 2006. Spending time with his kids and family was Sean’s passion. Together they enjoyed vacations, hunting trips, and attending the kids’ many activities. He especially enjoyed inspiring the kids’ creative ideas, sparking their imaginations and walking them through the engineering and construction. Above all, he was a devoted father, loving husband, and loyal friend. Sean is survived by his loving wife Laura; son Anthony "AJ" Hess age 13; son Carter Hess age 10; daughter Alaina Hess age 9; step-daughter Britney Stuckey age 14; step-son Logan Stuckey age 9; mother Janet Peters; brother Richard Hess of Milwaukee, WI; maternal grandfather John Lindh of West Bloomfield, MI; paternal grandparents Richard and Donna Hess of Cheboygan, MI; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Sean was preceded in death by his father Eric Hess and maternal grandmother Jane Lindh. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church, Milton with Pastor Rachael Powell officiating. Visitiation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON from 4 PM until 7 PM and from 9:30 AM until the start of the service at the church on Saturday.
